The room was clean, however it had problems. The light above the sink did not work, nordid the electrical outlets there. On the positive side, the office staff was very cordial, and the Libby was bright and clean.

Checked into hotel, left the room for a day out, but decided after being gone for about an hour that we would go back and get the car. Had to go to the room to get the keys, only to find out that the lock on the door never worked so our room had been unlocked for about an hour while we were gone, with all our belongings in it. Staff didn't see that as much of a problem, offered to move us, but by that time, I wanted no part of that hotel. Decided to not stay there, they refused to give our money back, but the worst part was when we went down to turn in our keys, the manager behind the desk didn't ask what the problem was, just said.."oh, okay" when I told her we wouldn't be staying. Not much for customer service. I have been in customer service all my adult life, and I would never let a customer leave my business without at least trying to satisfy them. Very disappointed in this hotel. I'm just glad that we hadn't been out for several hours like we had planned before discovering this problem.

The room small, but was very clean and had a small refrigerator and microwave,& two double beds, which other motels charged extra for,or are not available. Location was one block off the boardwalk which also had lots of restaurants & shops. I did not have to drive after I arrived just step out the door & walk, even to the beach. The Parking lot is abit tight, but at least there was a place to park.

Overall this place was good and convenient. It seems to have been updated and the room looked pretty much like the picture. It was small, but did the job for my husband and little girl. Most importantly it was clean. The beds were full size bed, which we weren't excited about, but at the end of the day, you are happy to just have a place to lay down. I was thrilled that it had a fridge and microwave. The continental breakfast was great and it had a waffle maker. Missed the idea of eggs, but lots of bread type foods, coffee, cereal, juice. Pool was very small, didn't bother. The boardwalk was just up the street, very close and there's plenty around to do. Parking is limited on a busy weekend (be prepared to circle as there are plenty of one way streets), but much better during the rest of the week. The office staff was helpful and there's plenty of information on things to do in the office. .

DO NOT STAY HERE
10/03/2007I stayed here because i travel frequently and have frequent traveler points with choice hotels. with that being said:
this place was disgusting.

THIS PLACE WAS DISGUSTING.
You are better off staying at the knights inn or something like that. The location in prime to be beach/boardwalk/pier area, but there are tons of hotels here. Parking is cheap around this area and we probably should have stayed off the boardwalk area more.
